St Mary’s allows the tower to be used for Peal / Quarter Peal ringing, however, this is at the discretion of the Rector who will consider each request individually, we do have to consider those who live close to the Church and with whom we maintain good relations.

If you would like to use the tower then you should initially contact the Tower Captain, Jill Farmer who will discuss the request with the Rector, she can be contacted on 01829 250471 or via email – jill.farmer@elginhill.com 

Fees: Please note that a fee of £2 per rope per hour or part thereof is chargeable for peals and quarter peals, this goes towards the Tower maintenance fund.

Toilets: A portable toilet is available to the side of the Church

Refreshments: There are no facilities for hot drinks unless arranged prior to your visit when we will try and accommodate your request.
